This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Okay... I have been drawing but I haven't had an opportunity to post. I have to post an Ed Elric fanart, a Guts fanart, a Hikaru no Go fanart... And a couple of doodles. Promise to post soon. Thanks for the pageviews and the patience!
Start drawing from life. I saw you liked Wen's work.
You won't be able to draw like him until you work from life and get out of that anime fit. Anime is drawn like it is because it has to be animated frame by frame, so they simplify everything. But even anime is derived from life drawing. So you won't be able to draw that correctly until you draw from life, either.
Look up muscle tendons, skeleton structure, and all that good jazz, and start drawing it. If you like his monsters, start watching animal planet a lot and sketching quick 10 second sketches of animals in different poses. You can come up with some crazy stuff.
There is a journal of his on how he comes up with everything, too. It's last year sometime, take a look at it. There's also a book called "The Manga Matrix". Look it up in a book store or on Amazon.com. It's a good read for original characters also.
Hope that helps. Good luck.

Sometimes scanned pencil images (depending on what kind of lead was used) come out differently when scanned. I've had some come out a brownish color, and some a bluish. Its odd. The levels aren't that dynamic either--not being pure white nor absolute black. So that could be it, too.
It's fixable in Photoshop, like most else. x3

If you can't laugh at yourself, you don't have the right to laugh at anyone else.
